SETTING UP YOUR HIGHBANKER


Items needed;
1, 3-4' level
2, 3"bubble level self stick
3, marker or pencil
4, yard stick or tape measure

How to do it;
1,find a level setup location
2, set highbanker up at working level "use high end for reference"
3,bring up lower end to match high end and level out "using your level"
4,measure box length [ie; 4' long]
5,account for 1" declination for each foot of box length [ie; 4"]
6, lower the tail end of the box 4"
7, using your level on the side of box establish and draw a level scribe [line]
8, in a safe location attach bubble level on the level scribe line
9, the bubble level "should" be level and centered


Results; Your highbanker is set up for standard river gravel.
A, Now to operate in a more organic or clay based soil enviornment, all thats necessary is to raise the tail end of the highbanker box to the point where the bubble level sight glass bubble splits the line closest to the tail end of the box.
B, Now to operate in loose flow sand, from the level location in the sight glass bubble, Drop the tail end of the box so the sight glass bubble in the bubble level splits the line closest to the header end of the box.

Water requirements;
A, adjust the water flow for an even steady flow over the riffles "all positions"

Feed requirements;
A, feed then "wait" allow to "clear", then feed again
